Planning
Lincoln's Planning Department is a dynamic office that strives to preserve and protect the town's historic past and unique character, and to be proactive in guiding future land use decisions by following the vision set out in the Town's Comprehensive Plan. It works to find the balance between new residential and commercial development while preserving the historic past of the community. The role of the Town Planner is to take into account the views of a wide range of interested public and private groups while the town works to improve the overall welfare of our residents and their community. The town's Planning Department works with a wide variety of town departments and state agencies to accomplish this vision.
