The Lincoln Police Department will only provide VIN Checks for Lincoln Town residents and businesses during limited hours.
New VIN Check Hours:
- Days: Mondays & Wednesdays only
- Time: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
- Appointments: No appointment necessary
*** VIN Check hours are subject to officer availability and may be canceled at any time. No VIN Checks on State Holidays ***
Requirements for VIN Checks
Please bring the following with you:
- The vehicle (must be present)
- The vehicle title (original or copy)
- Proof of Lincoln residency (Examples: Driver’s license, lease, mortgage, tax bill, utility bill, etc.)
- Payment by credit card only (Apple Pay and Google Pay are not accepted. Please bring your physical credit card.)
