Effective Immediately
Due to winter weather and sustained cold temperatures, the Town of Lincoln has imposed a Seasonal Roadway Excavation Moratorium. During this period, no new roadway excavation permits will be issued, and non-emergency excavation work within Town of Lincoln public roadways must pause.
Emergency utility repairs may proceed only with authorization from the Lincoln Department of Public Works and must follow temporary patching requirements until full restoration is possible in the spring.
The moratorium will remain in effect until weather and pavement conditions improve. A notice will be posted when it is lifted.
For questions or emergency approvals, please contact the Town of Lincoln Engineering Department at (401) 333-8415 or bthalmann@lincolnri.org
All you have to do is go to the "How Do I..." button on the top of your screen and click on Business Registry Form. Fill this out and we will enter it into a registry. That registry will be provided to anyone looking for a local business in Town or maybe someone visiting from out of town. Once we begin getting your responses, we will make the registry as we go.
