Welcome to the Town of Lincoln

We encourage you to explore our new and improved website for useful information about the Town of Lincoln. Lincoln is a suburban community located in Northern Rhode Island that has maintained many of its original rural characteristics. National publications have cited the Town of Lincoln on at least two separate occasions as one of the top one hundred best places to live in America.

Lincoln residents and visitors enjoy a unique quality of life. The Town has vast areas of open space, several registered historical sites which have been nationally recognized, bike paths, as well as several parks and recreational areas. 

 Residents enjoy excellent schools, safe neighborhoods, and professional public safety services. In addition, the town offers a state-of-the-art senior center, public library, a family literacy center, and provides daily services through the Department of Public Works.

The Town also offers convenient highway access to locations throughout Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts including the Boston areas. Located within the Town are ample shopping outlets, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

The Town takes great pride in offering several special events during the year such as our Memorial Day Parade, Summer Concert Series, and Great Road Day, just to name a few.  The goal of all of our events are to provide safe family friendly events where our residents and visitors can enjoy all that Lincoln has to offer.
